As part of this commitment, we will use our position to support organizations at the forefront of social action and change in the field of promoting sport-based physical activity; encouraging all countries to participate, including those who have not had the opportunity to participate in global sporting competitions; providing resources such as equipment, facilities and training to underserved communities; and supporting orphaned children by providing them with school supplies, such as pencils, books and backpacks.

We believe that sports can have a positive impact on people’s lives and that physical activity can improve mental health, help young people develop and help people live longer, healthier lives. All children deserve the right to a better future and must be cared for and protected from pain, fear, hunger, abuse, exploitation, neglect and violence.
